A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

I've always been curious -- about how our minds think and how our thoughts relate to and affect our emotions. I believe that kind of curiosity is key to broadening our knowledge and growing more hopeful understandings of ourselves and our perspectives. We all struggle at times but we don't need to struggle alone. As your therapist, I will be here to support and encourage you as you sort through your challenge and discover your change.

I view each of my clients as unique individuals dealing with unique life circumstances. In our time together, I hope to honor your personal situation and assist you in increasing personal insight and cultivating greater self-awareness. In my experience as a therapist I’ve worked with adults and teens in private practice, in behavioral health environments, and within the criminal justice system.

I hold a Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Individual and Family Psychotherapy from Our Lady of the Lake University. I am a member of American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) and Texas Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (TAMFT).

I love baseball, being out in nature, and I consider my family to be my greatest treasure.
Consider this my invitation -- I'm inviting you to give therapy a try. And I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
